Learn it in ten seconds. Bring two portable hoops to any full court, set the rims at 8.5 feet, and play free-throw line to free-throw line.

Scoring

1 point: any make that isn't a dunk or a half-court shot. Layups, mid-range and deep shots all count 1.

2 points: any dunk.

3 points: the DunkBall shot, released from behind half court.

How a game works

3-on-3. First to 11, win by 2.

After every make, the ball goes to the other team. Inbound from the opposing basket. No make-it-take-it.

Blocks and goaltending are legal.

Fouls are call-your-own. After a foul, check the ball at center court. No free throws.

Disputes are settled with one shoot-for-it from the 3-point line.

Safety

Use breakaway or load-limited rims, keep the surface in good shape, and don't hang on the rim.
